Nets are hot I know that sounds crazy but they are 4-1 ATS in their last 5 and are takeing on a Toronto team that is not very good on the road. Toronto is also missing Chris Bosh. I like the Nets to keep on rolln and get the out right win tonight.

I have decided to post my NBA power rankings here on the site if you look up you will see the tab. My rankings are based off of ATS data and I use the rankings as a tool to help on cap the NBA card on a nightly bases.

I also will be posting my MLB futures post later tonight should be a fun read for all.

MLB Futures Market

It’s baseball futures time yay! Ok so not yay and before I completely lose you to a college football recruting web site just take a minute or two and hear me out, after all It just might make you some money come fall.

As I am righting I have CHRIS up and I am looking at the lines. You can get the Yankees at +210 to win the AL. The Red Sox are at +320. Most likely the AL is a two team chase to get to the dance. Look out for the Minnesota Twins at +1000 to crash the party. I know it’s a long shot but I like the Twins better than LA Angles who are +565.

With the AL most likely being a two team race with the Yanks and the Sox, I want to spend the rest of the post focusing on the senior circuit where the race is much tighter. The Phillies are +250 to get back to the world series at +250. I am going to say it right now I don’t think that happens. It is extremely difficult to get to the world series 3 year in a row. When you stop to think about it since the world series began it’s modern era in 1903 only 13 times has a team gone to the world series 3 or more times in a row, and 7 of those streaks where by the Yankees. It has only happened twice in the last 35+ years. So let’s just say the odds are not with the Philles. The next team is the St. Louis Cardinals who at +575 are a great value in my opinion. This is a team with a great 1-2 punch in the rotation who if hot and healthy is very capable of making a run at the Phillies in the NLCS. The next tier of teams include the Cubs +750 no way, Braves +750 LOL, and the Dodgers +800 no fucking chance. The next group I kind of like. The Rockies at +900 if you remember the playoffs last year you remember that the Rockies were tied up 1-1 in the opening round to the Phillies and were leading late in game 3. The Phillies came back and won that game but it doesn’t change the fact that the Rockies were just a couple of innings from being up 2-1 in the series with the next game in Coors field. The next team is the Giants +960 tell me you would be shocked if the Giants kick ass at home all year again and Linecum and Cain threw lights out in the playoffs and a guy like Kung Fu Panda or Mark Derosa came out and had a sick run in the play offs. I know it’s un likely but I wouldn’t be shocked. Look at teams like the D-Backs in 01 or the two times Florida did it, it can be done, and it feels like were due for a crazy MLB playoff run.

I am not telling you to put your mortgage payment on the Rockies to win NL I am just saying if you did they might have more value than the Phillies.

Dallas back at home for the first time since the all star weekend. Coming off a tough loss in OKC last night. I like the motivation factor here with Dallas they are going to come out strong at home looking to get on a roll after the big trade. PHX has been playing good as of late and most people are jumping at the chance to get PHX with points. I think this is what the books want us to do. Me I will going with the side the books want Dallas.

Atlanta -6

This is Atlantas first game back so they are playing on extra rest. The Clipper how ever are on a back to back after a big loss up in Portland last night. I belive the Clippers are done with Camby gone they have no low post and I am looking for a big night from the Hawks. The Hawks are coming off one of their worst played games of the year and they will want to get the second half started right.

BOOM! We nailed the POD last night

Sacramento +6 Hits and hell they should have won outright but they couldn’t hit the free throws at the end. We got our cover and that’s all we need. Tonight we have a bunch of teams playing in a back to back spots and we have a few teams with extra rest. I also thought it was interesting that most of the games where no where near the number yester day. Looks like we have a real opportunity to go on a sick run.
